Reading year ends on a cozy note

Posted by Violet Nesdoly on October 19, 2011

Our final MSA PPS reading of the season Monday, October 17th, was an intimate event. We shared poems around the circle, took a break to eat Satwant’s spicy samosas and then read some more.

We will round out the year with two more events.

The Annual General Meeting

Monday, November 7th,

6:00 − 9:00 p.m.

Meeting room of the Clearbrook Library

32320 George Ferguson Way,

Abbotsford B.C.

All MSA PPS members are asked to attend.

************

A year-end potluck is planned for November 23rd at the Kariton Gallery. More details coming soon.

Hi Blogger 7564. Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment. In answer to your questions:

    1. Membership is $15.00 per year.

    2. You can buy the books at our public readings or by contacting the individual poets if their email addresses are given. (Look on the poet profiles for contact information.)

    3. Yes, special functions like the potluck are for members and their invited guests. But public readings (the 2012 series will begin again soon) are free and everyone is welcome to attend. They are held in the Clearbrook Library. Watch this site for updates about upcoming events.
