Potluck ends PPS events for 2013

Posted by Violet Nesdoly on December 2, 2013

Fifteen members of the Poets Potpourri Society and their friends gathered on the evening of Saturday, November 30th, for the annual year-end potluck. Ruth-Ann and Rudy hosted us again at their Braun Acres country estate.

After Violet delivered this year’s Christmas prayer and blessings, we feasted on an extravagant meal of turkey, trimmings and a host of Canadian and ethnic side dishes, followed by rich desserts.

A short meeting of society members also took place. We cleared up our last business item of the year and then the fun commenced with a gift exchange. A carol-sing ended the evening.
