The Boy in Me

The Boy in Me

by Alvin Ens

A work of fiction

Title: The Boy In Me
Author: Alvin Ens
Publisher: Ensa Publishing, paperback, 140 pages.
Price: 16.95

From the Preface:

“All of these stories are true. Some parts of them have even happened. All of them are fiction. They are the author’s invention.

The stories are the product of an historic time and setting. They are the creation of a fertile imagination. They are filtered through years of growing up and of remembering, of aging and forgetting, of interpreting, of selecting, of fanciful inventing, of observing human nature and of introspection.

Least of all they are an historic record of my family. Within the context of having grown up in a family, of seeing many families, of having my own family of a wife and three children, and of imagining a family, and withint the process of choosing, changing, telescoping, inventing, let no one see himself as the real life model for my drama.

Within the scope of human nature, let no one see himself as excluded from the book.

– Alvin Ens, 2011
